So it was a struggle to begin with, he came with promises and then we found out that he wasn't a goal-scoring, flair player, but a provider of pin point crosses from the right wing and sometimes some good free kicks.
Then he left LA high and dry to go to a wedding, then won a title and now is part of a pretty poor team.

Great mid-fielder in his prime. I'd prefer Hodgson choosing him rather than Rooney, Lampard, Terry, Ferdinand, etc (of course I'd prefer it if England only kept Hart and got new and younger footballers). Good football ambassador to the USA.

He wouldn't qualify for a place on the England B team. A decent player but well past his prime.

There is a slight chance but I personally doubt it, at 37 Beckham is too old to even be considered for team GB let alone his wish to captain the team. There are far better players in the UK than Beckham looking to be selected for the 18 man team GB squad.

The 18 players will be announced at the end of the this month, all signs and speculation from those in the know in the UK sports press are that they have already been picked, and Beckham is not amongst them.
