BOTH... God created the laws which includes evolution

God is the cause, the big bang and everything after it is the effect

My vote is with the educated scientists of the world who have offered proof of their theory.
To think that some believe this world and each of us is a result of "creationism" is a strong
testament to the existence of minds filled with fantasy.

While there may be the hand of God at work in the machine of our universe, there never was a "magic wand" that spun the universe out in 7 days. Literalists of the Bible may believe in the magic wand, 7 days of creation, and a 6000 year history of earth, but that's a the fable that's been spun into "Creationism". It's not a "theory", it's a belief. Evolution is a fact, not a belief. Big confusing words, I know, but simply put.

You can't look around you and not see that, right down to the tiniest cell and as huge as the most beautiful parts of the world, that this stuff HAD to be created AND maintained by God!!!!

Are you suggesting that the idea that life happened by chance takes away from its beauty?

Just because we believe evolution doesn't mean we can't still believe in God.

If you believe in Creationism, then good luck to you. Mythology is a wonderful thing because it documents a culture's tradition and development. However, when you believe your 'mythology' is fact then then the rest of the world needs to be scared.

Creationism is a myth, pure and simple. An ancient story without any evidence to support it. Great as literature, lousy as natural science.

I say subscribe to a man on youtube by the name of:

    Thunderf00t.

He is an awesome and well informed guy. He pretty much makes creationist look pretty dumb with proven mathematics and facts.

Why not both? There seems ample Biblical evidence that there was some sort of evolution going on. And as one can neither prove nor disprove the existence of a deity it seems ignorant to shut that out, after all, can we certainly say there was a big bang?

Also, species do evolve to survive. And there are microorganisms that evolve in the weirdest circumstances.

The red shift of stars, cosmic background radiation and the composition of elements in various stars all point to the Big Bang Theory being accurate.
  • Joel B... luke 2012/07/04 18:31:34

Yes they do, and I accept the Big Bang Theory; however, no one can go back in time to give us eyewitnesses evidence, just like no one can give us eyewitnesses evidence of a god. I meant to say that earlier.

I agree that things "evolve" or modify to adapt to today's world, for example. But the original plan was God's! Even the "fallen race of humanity" has put their hands into causing organisms and such to change, there are still parts of science that God will NOT let man change.

I believe it's more so the Laws of Nature that prevent us. Of course, laws I believe were created by him.

I don't think we evolved from apes I tell you. We where created. Look at everything around us, our rain cycle, seasons, and solar system. Wouldn't all of those things have an effect on evolution. It don't seem me like any of the animals or us are evolving at all. I think the earth had a purpose. Adam and Eve made the wrong choice, that is why we are in the predicament we see today.
