Creationism or Evolution?

Evolution.
Creationism.
A mixture of both.

To be clear here:

Evolution: Life as we know it evolved into the state it is today and life is still continually evolving. This has nothing to do with the origin of life itself.

Creationism: Belief that life as we know it today has always been as it was since being created by a deity, "higher being" or something of the supernatural variety. This is not restricted to one religion.

I need a distraction and a hot-ish button answer will be perfect so please answer. I myself put my stock into evolution as I see undeniable proof of it but I won't begrudge anyone if they feel differently just as I don't some of my good friends or even my mother who all believe that a god created everything.

An invisible and undetectable Flying Spaghetti Monster created the universe after drinking heavily. The Monster's intoxication was the cause for why Earth is flawed. All evidence for evolution was planted by the Flying Spaghetti Monster in an effort to test the faith of Pastafarians. When scientific measurements such as radiocarbon dating are taken, the Flying Spaghetti Monster is there changing the results with His Noodly Appendage. Heaven includes a beer volcano and a stripper factory. Hell is similar, except that the beer is stale and the strippers have sexually transmitted diseases.

Can anyone explain how the turtle evolved? It seems to be a hole in evolution when evolutionists can't decide if the shell evolved from nothing over time or that the shell came first and has been unevolving over time. Which one seems to be a serious matter in maintaining the stability of the theory of evolution.

And what's with the so-called missing link in turtle evolution, Odontochelys? How is a separate species that is obviously not a turtle be considered the ancestor to the turtle?

    Exactly.
Most of the known phyla that exist today suddenly appeared with no precursors.

What was that you said about "no holes"?

I never said there weren't precambrian fossils.

I just stated the fact that most major phyla that exist today "appeared" in the Cambrian Explosion.

evolution has had enough evidence to stand the test of scientists for 150 years, it is incredibly unlikely that there is an alternate theory that would explain this and debunk evolution. the evidence is so comprehensive that you would have to close your eyes, cover your ears and shout loudly in order to not see it.

As for creationists, it is their belief and faith. such things fly in the face of actual evidence and fact so it's difficult to discuss properly with them about anything scientific.

    To quote kurt wise:
"Although there are scientific reasons for accepting a young earth, I am a young age creationist because that is my understanding of the Scripture. As I shared with my professors years ago when I was in college, if all the evidence in the universe turns against creationism, I would be the first to admit it, but I would still be a creationist because that is what the Word of God seems to indicate"

    Evolutionary theory is falling apart.

Evolutionists had to change the basic premise of evolution with puntuated equillibrium to explain the fossil record. When you look at the fossil record there are much less (any?) gradual changes (transitionary fossils) as the theory predicts than there are fully formed species found in the layers of strata with no precursors.

Most major phyla first appear in the Cambrian Explosion period with no precursors.

So instead of saying that evolution takes place extremely slowly over hundreds of thousands of and millions years, now they say it takes place in extreme bursts, because it's the only way to explain the actual fossil record and keep the theory alive.
years extreme bursts explain actual fossil record theory alive punctuated equillibrium
Their nice flowing tree of evolution now looks like some weird cactus.

Yet, they still teach the theory as invented by Darwin despite scientific evidence to the contrary.

You are just outright lying about the actual scientific evidence, as evolutionists have to.
Of course the discoveries have been made, you just refuse to look at evidence that disagrees with evolution. TRUE!
Darwin considered this sudden appearance of many animal groups with few or no antecedents to be the greatest single objection to his theory of evolution, and he was right. Thats why evolutionists have had to come up with so much fraudulent "evidence".

Even the most recent findings are fraudulent. Supposedly the findings are peer reviewed, but they keep screwing it up (or just outright lying).
Ida was a freaking lemur. Ardi, their latest supposed missing link was shown to be fraudulent as well.
