i always grew up listening to classic rock, so i never really got into rap or country. & i am glad because some of the popular rap songs just sound annoying.

Honestly, some rappers have talent. Some can sing like 10 words in the space of three seconds it's actually rather amazing.

I listen to country as well, but not as much as rap. I've been listening to it since my first day home. I listen to alternative, blues, funk, scratch, electronica, swing, and such much more today.

Sure, there are some enjoyable songs in both genres, but the majority of both are simply not what I like. I really like harmonies in music.

I grew up watching The Fresh Prince of Bel- Air, which is probably why I like it, although my favorite gemres of music are rock and metal :D
