yeah, i think most people in relatively good health could..and i would prefer to run/jog it since walking would take too long and it dosent give you the same rush as running its feels great!

It depends on the purpose? I walk all the time and hike some but not over five miles, so there has to be a reason I am interested in to do it.

and I'm proud to say I have.
I love to hike and be outside (weather permitting). there's something about connecting w/ nature for me.
Many times i started walking down the beach and walked and walked and walked... only to find that i was many miles from home and had to walk back too.
I have done back packing weekend trips but it's been a while.
My relocation to TX nearly 3 years ago has curbed my desire to do any hiking or beach walking for lack of beach or mountains but i try to stat active in other ways like swimming, weights and yoga.
