But I prefer not to. There are too many shows I'd miss...like Castle. I will say, I haven't had TV in my own home since 2007. I'll watch it with other people, but I can't get it over the air in my house.

Oh, yes. Castle and Beckett are simply the best. And what a great supporting cast! Since you appreciate Castle, did you watch Nathan in Firefly? That was so much fun as well!

That might be because they stopped broadcasting tv signals over the air a few years back.

No, they stopped broadcasting analog television signals. Digital signals are being broadcast now, and can be received over the air by newer televisions with digital tuners. Antennas still work, I just don't have one on my house any more.

I do have some favorite tv shows. But I listen to music way more than I watch television. Giving up tv wouldn't be that difficult.
