No, and I have proof because that's all I get without having any side work. I'm on social security. I need about $300-500 more each month to actually make it; that is, eat good food (not exotic or overly expensive, just healthy, good food), pay for co-pays on Rx's, and the occasional new pair of shoes or whatever when the old ones are worn out. And this is totally without any recreational activities, mind you. Will need a little bit more extra. I do get part-time transcript work occasionally and that's how I've managed to live thus far, but it's been touch and go all the way. Stress will kill me soon, so then I won't have to worry anymore. Hah!

If it was just myself I was supporting I don't think it would be a problem at all. Since I am supporting my son through college it may be a bit hard to do but I don't think it would be impossible.

it IS possible but it'll be hard. after rent there's not much you can do after cant really get new clothes barely enough for food plus transportation whether its gas money or public transportation you wont be able to enjoy your money. that's why i chose no

but if your younger maybe in your teens and younger when your still with your parents and you don't have to care much about bills and what not then. you will have a blast and think irresponsibly

I have dreams about 1000 a month right now!! My husband daughter and I have had a windfall of
unfortunate events since 2008 and we are just now getting to a 1000 a month does it seam like enough no still not enough but its possible thanks to government programs budgeting and family members! Before I had my daughter and married I lived off of 600 a month and I lived in a small colorado town priced a lot like aspen!

I know right Matt ? We are both from expensive states so it's tough.
Factoring in overhead of course. Otherwise put $ 1,000 in my wallet without rent
or mortgage and I could do a happy dance for a month ! LoL ..
