There was a time when I couldn't but I'm not treating it that seriously now. However, sex WITH love would be great again some day.

No way. I've never been able to separate the two. I don't judge those who do it, but it's not for me. For me, sex is something special and sacred and should only be given to those with whom you're in love. If we had sex with everyone, what would we have that was special to give specifically to our partners/spouses?

I find it very hard to say no when approached by women. It’s completely crazy to me that women have such power over men. And you know you do. Women are my Pied Piper; I could go on all day with this question.

Women also hold very much sway over me, but I doubt that they think so. I relate well to them, more than to men, most likely because I was a "mamas" boy, since my dad was a truck driver and was gone all the time. When he was home he tried to sleep and had to whip me at mama's request. :)

we are not talking about any preferences here, we are talking about how women influenced our lives, correct? if a woman was the only influence on a little boy, dont you think that would influence how he felt about things, when nothing from his father was ever there except for discipline? I am not talking about sexual preferences.

I 'm sorry I guess I misunderstood. You might be right but to me that is old school thinking. I’ll give you this; nobody can say you’re wrong on this, in a lot of instances old school is on the mark. I did not have a mom so I have no personal experience. I have taken a lot of classes on psychology for my job and I believe that genetics can determine people’s behaviors. In my case women can totally knock me out over one thing, in building relationships you learn what it takes to keep your partner all around wanting to come home. So when I said power over me, I meant control to say no is tough.

I see. I feel for you not having a mom. While mine and I fought all the time, I would not be the person I am today without the influence she had on me. She was a top student, and her intelligence passed down to me through those genetics. See, I do believe genetics play an important role in a person's make up. I'll even go you one further: what do you think causes ones' genes to be a certain way or not? It has a lot to do with their ancestors' environmental influences! So, we have traversed this subject right back around to where we started.

Nice. I know their working or researching on environmental influences. But I need to think sometimes genes just lock into place randomly. Its pretty complex. Just my simple headed thought.

Guido, u r touching on some good topics that hold my dearest interest. We will certainly come upon all this knowledge in due time. But will we be able to effectively deal with it, is the ethical question?
As some movies and fiction have depicted, the buying and selling of certain desirable genes would make people in general even more distant from each other than they are already.
We readily admit this possibility for the future, however, if you imagine an unending future where all possible outcomes have the chance to come to fruition. It's way more profitable in our primitive society, to dwell on and spread fears of uncertain outcomes, brought on by imperfect knowledge of prophecies and hopes and dreams.

I think you'd be surprised at just how few women realise it. Even the most confident looking woman can be a mass of insecurities inside. And there are whole industries that trade off it :-(

Not to connect the two in the same breath, but yeah, Prostitutes and rapists do it all the time. With prostitutes, its business and a way to make a living. With rapists, many times is a need for something that has nothing to do with love or sex. Like a need to express rage, or a need for control, power and domination.
