It would be extremely arrogant of us to believe that we are the only intelligent life in the galaxy. All religious superstition is based on the supernatural and aliens would have been just that.
    Anything is possible.

So far, science does not understand how life form. Every so often they discover new forms of life on our own planet in places that just a few decades ago was unthinkable. Given that even our solar system is so big when compare to our planet earth and also knowing that the universe is so immense, we shouldn't think that we are alone as an intelligent species . If an advance civilization visited earth in the past, is only possible that they physically can not travel so often to earth just for the simple reason of the vastness of space itself and it happens that only in the last few thousand years our technology evolve enough to make records of such encounters and understand what happen. If this encounters happen at an earlier time they might have been mistaken for Gods or something alike. So my believe is that is quite possible that planet earth could have been visited in the past by an advance civilization other than humans. JE.

Maybe. I am quite not sure of this. But i believe that there is life after death. And if you are not ready, then there are those trouble souls who kept coming bak to earth to be born again to fulfill theire dreams and purpose in life.

More evidence that says yes than no.

I'm only waffling at the thought that perhapsthe "aliens" were us. As in the remains of the previous high tech civilization which failed for some reason.

Yes, I firmly believe that aliens DID already visit our problem. We're pretty stupid as a species if we think we're the only humanoids in the whole universe.

We are the aliens ,......Australias white population originated when Britain dropped their criminals there . The earth was populated much the same way . The ones with the "violent"gene got dropped here to prevent Chaos from contaminating the gene pool . No tolerance for violence on our mother planet . Left with nothing it took only a few generations to become barbarians , With technological ideas . Evolution , & the slightly more caustic enviroment has made us as we are now . The large headed grey (area 51) type guys are our natural appearance , we grew a foot taller in the last couple hundred years alone . The "ancients" are currently concerned we may (seed) a new black hole with our advances in nuclear sciences . They cannot let that happen - they're responsible for us & our actions . In other words the garden of eden may have been elsewhere than earth . black hole advances nuclear sciences responsible actions garden eden earth

Fun to think about. However, the universe in which we reside has certain laws of physics. If we set aside the notion of interdimensional travel or travel between multi-verses, then aliens must travel within the bounds set by the laws of physics in our universe. And the laws of physics make the odds of aliens traveling to earth the same as us traveling to alien worlds - small.

There seems to be plenty of evidence that indicates it was possible. But as I was not there, I cannot say for sure. But I hope so. I hate to think that we are the smartest beings in the universe ever. That would be really sad.

Tbh, science began as alchemy and it sprang from religion. The idea behind the Ancient Astronauts theory is that the ancients were confused and mistook aliens for gods. At the same time, science itself is disputing this along several lines including the fact that ancient peoples were more advanced than we give them credit for. Science is trying to prove that ghosts are real, that the gods are aliens and after decades of saying religion is bunk... they are finding ancient cities listed in religious books exactly where they say they are, that cultures mentioned actually did exist, that plagues mentioned could in fact have happened exactly as the Bible says and Noahs flood was possible but wasn't world wide. Likewise, people of religious faith are increasingly believing that science and archaeology are disproving religious tradition but not disproving their religious faith... in fact, many modern Christians are even more devout because modern discoveries are making sense of religious issues and answering questions for them that no one else answered or they were actually told to stop asking these questions.

Many of todays scientists are actually religious people rather than Atheists and they are fascinated by questions like Ancient Astronauts because it focuses mostly on non Abrahamic faiths. Where it does focus on on these faiths, it doesn't actually contradict most of what they believe... it's just fascinating to them. Most of my Christian friends believe in dinosaurs, think the world has been here for billions of years and they believe in extraterrestrial life. I find it odd that many non Christians assume they understand them because they obviously understand nothing as Christians have evolved their views just like no Christians do... what you believe now you may not believe ten years from now.

I myself have been fascinated with the idea of ancient astronauts since my childhood and even if what I was learning proved bunk eventually... it fascinated me to the point I wanted to learn more about the people involved in these stories. This greatly increased my desire to learn more about history and archaeology.

People who believe in Ancient Astronauts are scoffed at and ridiculed no different than people of religious faith... because even if they base this in science and facts, it's all about belief.

In a way, the belief in Ancient Astronauts reveals the flaw in Atheist thinking that science is about facts. If you look at the idea of Ancient Astronauts, it follows the rules of science that theories must be backed by facts to prove the theory... they have done this with the theory of Ancient Astronauts. But the theory of Ancient Astronauts also feeds into religious beliefs stating that religious people may not be as mistaken as we thought they were... and since many Christians actually support the idea of Ancient Astronauts, Anti Theists immediately turn against it and ridicule the theory.

There seems to be more and more "evidence" to suggest the theory. The one thing that can't be argued is that we are here. We would be very arrogant to think that all of this--the universe--exists with us as the only intelligent life forms.

If you look at most major religious and cultural groups throughout history, they all hint at something, at one point or another, that could be interpreted as "aliens". How about this: The garden of eden was a genetic experimentation facility, hence people getting made from each others ribs.
