Desktop - Mine's custom though =) But Laptop wise I like Toshiba or HP.

My first computer was a gateway desktop and I loved it, Never had any real issues with it and when I did there was a place here in town that worked on them

I like have a laptop.. I have a gateway and I would never recommend anyone to buy one.
If anything goes wrong and it will... You have to pack it up and pay to ship it to Texas to have it fixed.

I prefer a Desktop. It's cheaper, and less likely to fall on the floor. I broke my last laptop that way..

Depends on what I am doing. To just play on SH...I like my laptop... If I am working on a big project or something like that, I prefer to use my desktop....They are both HP all the way. I have had really good luck with HP's.....
