DC Comics easily. The characters are more memorable IMO and they have better writers. And Vertigo is cool. The only Marvel characters I can really get into are the X Men.
Thanks. I've only heard of a few of those characters. I've been a Marvel fan all my life and never got into any DC storylines. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Lobo a lot like Wolverine of the X-Men?
Lobo started out as an over-the-top, alien parody of wolverine and deathstroke type characters. Kind of like a super powered version of Maddox's character. His backstory is that he's the last survivor of his planet... because he killed all the other ones. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/... http://www.youtube.com/watch?...
Marvel has the funding from Disney, the better toys, the better comics, the better games, and the better movies. I think they should invent a theme park called Marvel Land.
I completely agree. The Batman movies with Christian Bale are the only ones on par with the Marvel movies, but DC doesn't have anything else besides Superman that has any hope of getting the traction that the Avengers, Iron Man, X-Men, Spider Man, Thor, Captain America, and Hulk have.
I especially like your Marvel Land idea. That could be the 5th theme park at Disney World.
Heroes: Dr Fate, Superman, Question, Batman, Zatanna, Wally West, Resurrection Man, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Captain Comet, pretty much anyone else in the JSA.
Antiheroes: Lobo, Hitman, Deathstroke, The Spectre, Etrigan, John Constantine, Cameron Chase.
Villains: I'd say basically all Superman and Batman's villains, especially Darkseid and Professor Pygg. Vandall Savage and Owlman also stand out.
