Can you return things to BigLots within the 30 day period or whatever?

If you have the receipt and want to return something? My mom said you couldn't return things to BigLots... I'm buying a tablet today, and I want to know if I don't like it if I can return it...

In NY that's not quite true. Their return/exchange/refund policy must be conspicuously posted. Not all stores give cash refunds. Some stores will exchange or give a store credit.

This is true, but I'm basing it on what happens in Texas which is the store giving you refunds or credit as long as you still have the receipt.
