Just remember to keep your arms locked and spread your legs wide when you're on your hands. Sometimes it helps if you do a little hop and point your toe before you go into the cartwheel.

I did however make an interesting discovery a couple of years ago though. Just cuz ya once could don't mean you still should!!!

My daughter did not believe I was ever into gymnastics. So I did a cartwheel splits in my living room. At 40. With no warm up.............. she said "wow mom, that's awesome" and (thank GOD) walked out of the room. I promptly fell over sideways and silently screamed! LOL!!

I use to be able to do so much more. I was very physically fit growing up and most of my adult life. But I can still do a cartwheel! :)
