depends on what the medication is and the strength. Also if the person routinely takes drugs equal to or stronger than the sleeping pills. Regardless a 13 y/o should not need sleeping pills and I can't see a physician prescribing them.

It all depends: Under certain circumsances she might. For instance, how much does she weight? Was it on an empty stomach. Was she drinking? Was she taking any other medication? Is she allergic to amy medication? How high is the dosage?

Technically not taking the prescribed amount is an overdose. Would it be deadly? I would say it is possible.

I would have be very cautious about any sleeping pills for a 13 year old. I am not an expert but I think a persons reaction to drugs involve many factors. Age, weight, health issues, drug interactions and state of mind all play a part.

Drugs to me are drugs. What is not emphasized by our government is prevention using U,C,S, only Chiropractic practitioners to keep sysmtoms from occurring in the first place. www.upcspine.com, and upper cervical health centers. There are techniques good techniques, and bad techniques. The government does not have classes to teach which is which. Waiting to long to be evaluated will result in getting less from the care as you could have otherwise gotten.

Yes, there's a good chance of it happening. You have factor in the body mass of the girl, the strength of pills(dosage). when if she has taken them before. Also how fast and well does her body process this medication(metabolism)?

Too many variables. What type of sleeping pills, how much does she weigh, has she taken them before, etc.
Definitely possible but can't be sure. The more disturbing question to me is why would a 13 year old take 3 sleeping pills. Any for that matter.

    3? 13 y/o? Were they prescribed? There's no way I'd let a 13 t/o do that.

Body mass is more a determinant than age. A 90 lb girl will be more vulnerable than a 150 lb girl. Other medication interaction is also a consideration. Consult your physician for what is safe for you.

Depending on the pill, 3 is enough give King Kong an overdose. 'Sleeping pills' are dangerous.

Yes, taking too many of some kinds of sleeping pills can kill you. They repress the respiratory system and you can gradually stop breathing without waking up.
