Chicks don't get me, but guys get it. They don't try to hit on me, and it is not because I'm married. It has happened my whole life. Pissed me off in high school, when I am attempting to get laid, and they are always saying something like "You're like a sister" or "You are too cool to date". How the hell can someone be so awesome that you wouldn't want to spend more time with them?

I guess it really does depend on the person:/. I thought I had a really great friendship starting with Junichi, closest thing I've had. Even when I was little in early elementary school I was boy crazy, liked every boy. I still have a soft spot:(. Which is why I stay away. But I consider my love right now, to be my best friend because I feel safe letting him that close<3

Only if the guy friend is gay. If he is straight invariably the sexual question will come up at some time. Then that tension can ruin the friendship. It will progress into a love relationship or may come to an uncomfortable end. This is just my experience.

i have three good guy friends. they talk about girls and i dont get awkward, and i make outlandish jokes, and they only slightly get awkward (their a naturally awkward bunch, its not their fault) and we sit around and gossip about fandoms all day

I would say it really depends on the situation. Two young singles with no attraction to each other can be friends. Most of the time I would say the answer is no but I think there clearly are some exceptions to that.

Yes, it takes discipline . . . And a strong love for ONESELF. If you only have pride in yourself then you will stay out of her panties. I know; because I had such a relationship . . . And we loved each other so much, but not in that way. Everyone, as it was proven to us, thought that we had something strong going on in the terms of "hank-;panky", but we proved everyone to be wrong. It's possible, though. Just don't go too far . . . And don't think about it. Eye-to-Eye Contact can be sincere in another way . . . Without THAT KIND of emotion.
