heartbreak is in your mind not your actual heart. so if your heart stops beating youre dead anyway.

Not "um, i guess so", it is certain that hearts break. The spirits of the dead watch over us from a new life, and there are many situations that would cause heart pain no? What about a loved one that was left behind, and has become depressed of said dead one's departure.

This is one of those questions that is very hypothetical. Once a heart stops, assuming it stays that way, one would have to assume it cannot break. Heart break in the first place has more to do with your mind than your heart.

it can always break after the heart has stopped beating. my heart once stopped beating and my friend broke it after and then my boyfriend came along and saved me it all depends on the person and the love they share with you.

it probably wouldn't be able to break since it;s stopped beating i dont think the person would be able to feel the intensity of the heart break.
The heart can still slowly decompose though, maybe bleed internally or explode inside the person, depending on how good condition it's in though :S
the person wouldnt be able to feel this either but the heart certainly would lol
