Non the less the graphics by Florence White Willams contributed to the use of the word "sambo" as a racial slur. Here's another one of her illustrations of a character she drew back in 1885 called Golliwogg which helped perpetuate the negative stereotype.

Obama sat through church services where the preacher "Jeremiah Wright" constantly talked about ugly America and the white people. There is nothing more racist than this. Did you forgive Obama for never standing up to Peacher Wright and telling him he was wrong. It is not very christian like to be hating white people. The president addressed the Rev Wright issue in his speech (approx. 7:20 minutes into it.) I'm satisfied with how he explained the issue even if you are not.
