Usually, I use either blue or black ink (as mandated by school), but my favorite to use is either green or red ink.

Black ink is better for photocopy; but if there is a need to differentiate the original from the copy or copies, blue ink - also other colors - is better.

Depends on the usage. Having studied the significance if 'color' in law, I found that black is a 'dead' color and works well with documents pertaining to corporations. The rest are 'living-colors'. Blue/Purple are royalty. Red is blood. To the body of the document, I use black. To any reference of the living, I use blue. To any reference of me, I use purple/violet. Hope this helps.

Depends. If it is an official original document in B&W; I always prefer to use blue ink, otherwise I like black.
