Blood of Eden
Vampires have taken over the planet, keeping humans as little more than cattle for food. There are rebels on both sides, human Fringers and vampiric Runners. But most terrifying of all are the Rabids that lurk outside of the vast vampire cities.
Canvas
For as long as people can remember, all humans have been grouped inside the outer walls of the City. Those who submit to the vampires and allow their blood to be drawn are considered "pets" and are fed and cared for by their Vampire Masters. Humans who rebel against this are forced to steal and live in vicious gangs to protect against the vampires that roam the night and called "Fringers". They are considered free game for any who chose to chase them. Similar to these are the "Runner" vampires, who literally ran from the vampire's strict class system and now dwell in various abandoned buildings. However, all vampires need human blood to survive, no matter how greatly they try to resist the Hunger.
But all of them, undead and living, stay within the city walls during the night. Because outside the protection of barbed fences and explosives are the Rabids, vicious, merciless creatures that roam the abandoned lands. Coming across them is a death sentence because even if they bite and you escape, you'll slowly become one of them...
