I think I find brunets more attractive but do to the fact that some traits can be correlated with others it is easier for me to tell what combinations of traits I am attracted to then what traits I am attracted to individually.
I'll just base this on the photos here, I have no real preference. Perhaps, as a blonde, I should be biased, but I typically think brunettes are prettier.
According to geneticists, the original mutation occurred in extreme northern Europe nearly 15,000 years ago. Lots of people now carry that mutated gene set, even some Native Americans.
I saw it over a year ago on a "History Channel" series about the origins and development of mankind. Sorry I can't remember the title. It linked hair color and eye color to the same group of genes that were always alike in ancient peoples and still are in the majority of humans but have a multiplicity of variables in the humans with the mutated gene set.
