"Blocked" polls should not be allowed on the Hot List - ANY polls that mention the word "blocked" or any variation thereof should be automatically disqualified from Hot List status. Agree?

NOTE: To save you the embarrassment, please note that you should curb the urge to try to appear clever by pointing out that this poll contains the word "blocked." Such an observation is neither witty nor perceptive nor original nor ironic, nor in any way relevant, since I couldn't care less about any of my polls being on the hot list.
The Hot List is for polls that are hot, fresh, new, interesting. Things that people actually want to talk about. Blocking is answers to none of those descriptors. In fact people are sick of hearing about it. If there were a Rot List or a Not List, that would be the place for such polls.
So I propose that any polls that are about blocking, being blocked, changing the block feature, or any other mention of the word block, blocked, blocks, blocking, blocker, superblocker, megablocker, blockarama, blocky-two-shoes, the Hard Block Cafe, or any other arrangement of characters wherein the letters B-L-O-C-K appear in that consecutive order, be AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED from appearing on the hotlist. Unless, of course, it can be proven that the poll is about wooden children's toys fashioned into 3-D squares.
What say you?

I thought the subject hadn't received the proper attention that it so deserved.....I've been printing out the polls with "blocked" in it and this is all I could come up with.

The reason blocking keeps coming up as an issue is because the people who block tend to be the most irritating *and yet* most easily irritated. This fact isn't lost on anyone, and as the newcomers are struck by this observation, they start the polls.
Viewed this way, the "blocking" polls are a good sign that SodaHead is bringing in fresh blood. That's healthy.
You're talking about what YOU want to see, but the fact that the polls keep showing up is proof-enough that these are "Things that people actually want to talk about." That's how they become "hot topics"... lots of people viewing and posting.
So in a way, you got what you wanted... which was "polls that people actually want to read".
That's all. Have a great evening.
