.......Us East Folk People, prefer the toilet tissue roll to be reapplied with the tissue under rather than over....... everyone here is wrong..... " You know why " ? ...... because Sister Jean chooses it to be Under..... so She's Right, and the rest of Soda Head is wrong, " I'm not messing with Sister Jean, and You shouldn't either " ...... lol........
however, one should never leave a leftover portion on the end of the toilet tissue, it's considered tacky .......
Ah, the Great Paper Caper! It's as old as women complaining that men leave the toilet seats up. Haha! My wife sometimes puts the TP under and as a wise guy, I flip it over, scroll back a few sheets and write on it, "The toilet paper goes this way!" and roll it back up. I know she gets the message since she has a front row seat to my message! :)
Now most as the poll shows like over the top. HOWEVER, you NEVER want to do over the top when you own cats. Under is far better because it is harder for the cats to unroll the TP! The claw DOWN not up. I hate the music but the point is valid just the same.
When I first worked for a restaurant, fresh out of high school, that was the first thing the head waitress showed me. Put it over. I've never forgotten that!!
I personally prefer over but my wife wants it under so I do it to please her. No sense in arguing over something as stupid as which way to hang the tp. Funny you would ask this because we were just talking about it last week.
Is this Cheryl Crowe's bathroom? You know, one roll for every month of the year. (She was the one who said people should only use one sheet of TP in the bathroom)
It doesn*t matter- over or under. But speaking of toilet paper, how come men seem to not understand why women need more toilet paper than them? Heads up guys: It*s cuz women have more surface area to wipe and more stuff to wipe. :)

Just rolling down the back for one and the front for the other?
There is a third option.
