NO WAY!!! With all the jealousy, competing with each other, self esteem issues, PMS, and emotional instability, this place would be pure chaos!! Men just know it's better to let us THINK we are in charge.
That is pretty much what Beyonce says in the video!!! My persuasion builds the nation and blah...our bodies help repoduce men into the world to build the nation and the dancing does not give off any kind of superiority vibe it is too sexual to see if we run the world with our brains or our bodies!!!
They certainly influence those who do run the world. I know that when my hubbie has a problem with his employees, he runs it past me, and I try to give him a stress-reducing view on the situation and come up with a positive resolution. I think many men use their wives as sounding boards, and in a small way, they moderate their anger and frustration, and don't act as harshly. Guys and their gals, rule the world together I think.
Yes, and no. I think it would have been more accurate to say that girls keep the world running, or going, not that woman actually run the world in the sense of power. At least, that is what the lyrics in her song insinuates. Women make the world go round. :D...

I agree in the aspect that girls are, currently, the majority of the population, technically running the world.
BUT I disagree in the aspect that women are not the ones with whole power. When talking socially the women, sadly, are sometimes considered inferior. When talking matrimonially neither the women nor men should hold power over the other. When talking in the career aspect, men are known for receiving more money than women on the same job.
So... yeah.
