Don't drink much but I love to shoot pool. So a great date for me is dinner, pool with a few drinks, and the a good movie.

same.. i love pool, poker, im more of the bar scene i guess, but a good movie if its not cheesey is really good, which im more of a home body anyways so the bar would be better for someone like me , it goes with the person how there personlity is

Thanks for your reply, little lady. I use to be more into the bar scene too, and pool of course. But I've always loved a great movie since I was 9. So now it's like that for me. Since now I don't care much for drinking. I'm outgoing and quite sociable anyway.

same here, mostly like a movie at home i got the home system so its just like going to the movies, and usually i can get them for free ;) , so i just chill at my pen if i wanted to see a movie, as far as a bar, got one int he basment back home but no one is ever home so it just rotts away lol

Awesome, it looks awesome. I think it's neat that you like pinball. So many young ladies your age barely now what it is. Cool. My pinball machine couldn't be too touchy for tilt either, tho' it'd have to have it. So ball control could be more a part of the game. Hope you're having a good evening. If it's a real date date, movies are a better choice. If it's just a person to go clubbing with, a bar is fine. Drinks at a venue or restaurant are different than a bar. I just don't see a bar as a real date.

It depends what you're going for in my opinion. If you're more of a party person than go for the bar. But, if you're like me, and want that romanticism in the relationship than go for the classic movie theater approach. (:

I'm so not a romantic, but I like the movie option as well. If nothing else, it's quiet snuggle [if you want] time and especially if you haven't been dating long, the movie gives you something to talk about later.
LOL. A date movie for me would be more along the lines of Expendibles II. Loved it by the way, and would see it again. HATE typical "date movies" and you'd have to put me in cuffs and shackles to get me to a chick flick.

for me it would be the bar, cause thats my personlity , i rather watch a movie alone , so already counts the movies out for me haha, but for say a girl tat is more into movies and those kinda dates yea a movie would be ideal for her

The woman who became my wife met me at the charter meeting of a church singles group. For awhile I would take her to dinner and follow it up with a trip to a nearby scenic overlook. Then after awhile we planned picnics. It was, as I said, something to do together. Just sitting around watching images on a screen can go only so far. Especially when you're not supposed to say anything during that time.

Very true. The man I was last in a serious relationship with I met at church as well. We used to go for a lot of day hikes with a picnic in the middle. Loved it. Nice thing about movies though, is that you can discuss them afterward. Sometimes it's easier early on in a relationship-gives you something to talk about.
