    the Rose parade, a car ran over my foot at the intersection of Colorado blvd and Fair Oaks! Got lots of sympathy from the gal I took there and we imitated rabbits the rest of the night, in our tent, in public, on the blvd.

    Most new years I spend in a boozed up haze. There was his one time, turn of the century, Millennium new year, I was sitting in my control room as head of sysops, monitoring 5 different networks (Solaris, Linux, Apple, Novell and NT) and 678 stations for the bug-that-never-was while my buddies were painting the town red blue and white. I handed in my resignation two days later and retired from IT. duh - WHAT a memory to take with me for the rest of my life.

    !!!!!! You lucky #$#$%^&^$% !!!!!!! LOL.

    For me, that night was historic sucksoville. The millennium comes around once in every 5 generations, I was fortunate to be young and pretty well-to-do when this one happened and I !#$%@#$%@#$^ spent it staring at 40 #$%^$%^#&%* computer monitors. GARN!

    we all went to my grandma's house and she started telling the future with tarot cards and said she didn't need to use em to tell mine. she said i'd manage to make it, while makin lots of stupid mistakes. so far she was right!

    We had gone to a dinner and dance with some neighbors, had a wonderful time and when we arrived home our house was surrounded by police cars. We pulled into the drive and an officer hurried to us and told us they would be going through our yard because they thought a criminal they had been looking for was at a house behind ours. They didn't want us getting in their way. We went into our house, and watched as they then surrounded the house behind us, and sure enough they had some guy handcuffed and away they went. Scared me to death.
