    Well, I must confess that I haven't yet tried burgers from In-n-out, Whataburger, Fatburger, or Jack in the Box yet, but none of them are within a 100-mile radius of my home. I understand that In-n-out is similar to Five Guys, though.

    Krekels double cheese in Decatur/ Mt. Zion Illinois. Double or triple cheese with a lemon milkshake. Frigging burger nirvana.

    Wendy's is my favorite of the ones I've tried, but I'm no snob, I'll readily confess to liking them all. If Five Guys is included, I'll take a "small" all the way.

    I'm not backing off the above one iota, but, if you're in Burlington VT, you've gotta go to Al's French Fries and in Albany NY it's Bob & Ron's Fish Fry. Both are always closed Sundays, and Bob and Ron's is closed Saturdays, too, in the summer. They both are more famous for what they cook in their fryers, but their burgers are something that has to be tried.

    Not really fast food but your can't beat the Big Boy. Of course through the years they have lost a lot from the 50s

    I was in a rush because I was going to add that. Yes, its not considered "fast food" but then I thought, well they do have a drive-thru & the typical's aren't the best, so I went for it...and you're right. I mean I wasn't around then but I know that they are nothing compared to what they were 30 years ago!

    We have a little place near us called the Road House, best burgers I have ever eaten they are just as messy and most likely artery clogging as the one above, but hell what's life without a great burger now and then.
