BEFORE there was politics, There were MOTHERS...

Hell, even before society as we know it existed, the fecundity and divine mystery that is motherhood was there.
Since time out of mind, women have risked and sacrificed their health, their well being, their personal happiness and even their very lives to bring us all into the world and raise us as best they could.
So with that in mind, I want to send this out to ALL mothers everywhere:
Whether you stayed at home with your kids, or worked a job to support your family...
Whether you vote Republican or Democrat...
Whether you're single or married, gay or straight...

Right on; Motherhood is WAY older than politics...

(Psst. Its Mid-July.)
Not many people get to say in their life, "I have 3 mothers." I am one of few. I want to thank the mother who raised me, Kathy. I know it pained you to see me ripped away from you after those years of laughter and spoiling and genuine happiness. I want to confront my biological mother, Lorrie Ellen Huggins. I want to spit at her feet, show her everything I've become despite her claims that I was nothing and would never amount to anything. I want to look in her eyes and tell her, without having to say a word, how pathetic of a human being she is, how no one cares for her but herself, that I feel sorry for her. And I want to thank the mother that made it all possible, Danielle. I know I do not show my gratefulness enough, but you brought me out of the darkness and into life. You connected me with my old family, you've changed me as a human being. You took me in and gave me a place as daughter, not because you had to, but because you could. You were never obligated to me, you never once had to give me more chances. You've been my biggest cheerleader, despite my efforts to push you away; you've always been there to help me become the best person I can be. I am just too stubborn to see it all of the time.
Happy Mother's Day.
Imho, today is more so a celebration of all women; feel proud my ladies for today is your day to celebrate womanhood!
And now some motherly pics:
Don't judge me for love.
Thank you mama!
Yay, Motherhood!!!
