Water Park for me all the way! I saw "Jaws" a hundred times so I'm NEVER going in the ocean! Besides, sand is so hot to walk on and it gets EVERYWHERE no matter how careful you are. You're still finding sand somewhere even days after you left the beach!
BEACH!!! u dont have to stand in line in the hot sun for an hour just to go down a slide, splash in some water, get out and get in another line. not to mention those eeffing stairs and tubes u have to carry.
Cleaner water, more water slides, I'm not afraid to go underwater, I don't have to take a shower afterwards, etc.
But I still freaking love the beach. I love collecting shells and driftwood, trudging through the wet sand, finding random things, wading out and feeling the waves pushing and pulling me and moving with them. It's awesome. But I prefer water parks.
Yes the water park has cool stuff in it, but I don't like swimming in the wave pool with pieces of weave and hair, used band- aids, bits of broken concrete, and couples practically having sex in the shallows. On the other hand the worse thing that could happen at the beach it to get stung by a jelly fish that managed to get past the net, or chafing from sand getting caught in your bathing suit.
Long walks along a beach with the sounds, smells ...the feel of the sand between my toes with occasional dashes into the surf to cool off .... make it at sunset or sunrise with someone who excites you ... paradise

Wherever has the fewest people gets my vote.
THERE IS LOTS OF THINGS TO DO AT A WATER PARK BUT AT THE BEACH U COULD ONLY PLAY WITH THE SAND AND THE WAVES
