Baconfest is where you and friends cook bacon, drink, and cook more bacon till the wee hours in the morning.
The one we do in St Louis, it cost one pound of bacon or one bacon entree to get in. Some or the bacon meals were stuffed bacon jalapeño, deep fried bacon burgers, deep fried corn dogs with bacon, bacon lasagna, bacon balls and more. The next day you can't move much but it's worth it.

To this day we have problems with even smelling bacon cooking. It got in your pores, and smelled for days afterward. My daughter still won't touch the stuff:)
