Cameron has announced that it's likely that the Avatar sequel will focus on Pandora's oceans.
I'm betting we'll see whale-sized lion fish, or electric eels that can swallow Na'vi and superenergize them into gods. From a visual standpoint, you think IMAX undersea movies are the biz... you ain't seen nothin' yet.........

the movie was ok but the thing is it takes forever like somtimes when i see it on the camercials i want to see it and since i got the movie i put it on and then i want to take it off cause like at first its boriing you have to have Patience for that movie

I loved Avatar!! There's a lot of symbolism in that movie, the greed we have for oil, genocide, environmentalism, I mean seriously, my cousins and I sat in the theater an extra 20 minutes just analyzing and discussing the symbolism and aspects of the plot that really came from the reality of our world. It was very interesting.

I got a little bit bored at some parts in the first movie- that's if they're making a sequel- but I thought it was an overall good movie. I think it would be pretty cool if they made a sequel, because A LOT of people love that movie. What would it be about though? How would it start off, and what else could happen to Pandora? I guess Cameron would have to think that up himself.

I do hope he doesn't screw it up with the usual blah sequel. If Star Wars and Terminator can make sequels that were even better than the originals, I'm sure he can. In fact wasn't Cameron involved in Terminator? maybe....

Well, I did enjoy the first film, and Cameron does have a knack for making superior sequels, so I look forward to it.

It was one of the biggest movie let down of last year,
It was boring, there's nothing wrong with me because i think that, it was just smurfs running around
The only reason people found it remotely good is the special effects in 3d

The problem was it came out at the same time as sherlock holmes and the better film was overlooked.
Sherlock holmes was by far and away the best film of 2009

the visual effects are wonderful but I have little doubt that it will be ruined by Cameron's penchant for blood, guts, violence and conflict. I guess it'll be big nasty submarines that do the biz this time.

you're right. Ain't it sad that to sell a movie you have to include all the violent crap?
But that's not Cameron's fault: it's the audience's.
