Republican arithmetic still seems to be a problem 30 from 50 would leave 20!

Besides the state with the most signatures has the grand total of 23,000. It would be best to send these people who can't accept the democratic process off to a deserted island in the Pacific!

No, Secession is not the answer to our problems with the Federal Government, but what the answer is would be to require all of the nations Governors and State Legislatures to Write, Pass, and Enact Nullification laws against any and all Federal Laws that violate any of the Rights in our Bill Of Rights and any Federal law that Infringes on the Life, Liberties, Property Rights of the citizens, and the Pursuit of Happiness of any of the citizens of the States. Any Governor or State Legislature that refused to Write, Pass, and Enact such Nullification Legislation should be immediately Recalled, or Impeached by the citizens of their respective State and they could then hold Special Election to replace their Governor or State Legislatures with Candidates who would Write pass, and Enact Nullification Laws against the Encroachments of the Federal Government.

What won't happen they're exercising their first amendment rights that's all they're doing. Washington by law is required to address any and all petitions with 25,000 signatures or more. That is the law Washington made themselves. Will they successfully succeed probably not but that doesn't give them any less right to petition. They have already won. I wouldn't expect you to get that though.

There is no First Amendment right to secede from the USA. NONE. But if you gotta go, you gotta go, dumb ass. Just turn over your passport on the way out because you aren't coming back. You'd need to pass a citizenship test to get back in and I don't think you could pass one.

Sure, they're allowed to redress their grievances, but if they represent only a very small number of dissatisfied voters facing down the national and state majorities, they probably shouldn't expect their redress (i.e. the desire to have their /whole state/ secede) to be given much credence.
