Matt and I were having this discussion yesterday. I guess it was different where I grew up, because we didn't have middle school or junior high. Our elementary school went from Kindergarten to 8th grade. So, even in 8th grade, most of us were still trick-or-treating.
He thinks, though that Junior High should be the cut-off.

We don't properly celebrate it (even though it's trying to take off), but I have had the honour of experiencing it in the US and there didn't seem to be an age limit on it. I saw ladies and gentlemen of all ages taking part.

Mine's afraid of the decorations at age 6. The question is: when should I MAKE her trick-or-treat?

Aw...that's so sad. My youngest sister was afraid of the craziest things. First it was vehicles. They couldn't get her in the car for a few months, then it was toys that moved or made any kind of noise...she just grew out of it.

My favorite trick-or-treaters of all-time were two high school girls whose costume consisted only of a Peter Pan-like hat, but they would sing for you. They listed their repertoire of songs and you got to pick what they sang. I picked a show tune and they belted it out. I figure you got to give me some entertainment for my candy. 'No costume, No candy' is strictly enforced at my house. Those two girls were the most entertainment I've seen.

It depends, its a fun hoilday but I tend to party on this day. but where i live people take halloween as a excuse to brick windows, tie people to trees and leave them there. My friends cat was hung by its kneck on halloween night by some Chavs! Damm them!

I have parents who trick or treat with their babies. Now who is the candy for? I have two sets of candy. The good stuff for the kids and some smarties for the bigger kids and parents.
