I don't remember. But I do remember that in 3rd grade my twin brother was crying because Scott U. told him Santa was not real. Boy was I embarrassed! About 6 rows behind me sat my brother, crying and saying, "Santa is real!" right in front of him sat Scott, "No, he isn't! Your mom and dad are the ones who buy those presents for you." Back and forth, back and forth. I KNEW Santa wasn't real and thought my brother was being ignorant but I still had to beat Scott up for making my brother cry.
    Good times. Good times!

Stopped believing in Santa when I was real young. After that I think my parents where a lot happier during X-mas. They weren't as pressured to buy stuff for us.

That would be when they started putting up the Christmas Decorations BEFORE Thanksgiving .. and it was made worse when they started pushing the Christmas Stuff a couple of weeks before Halloween when the Costumes were starting to be sold/put out!

Though my parents purchased presents, they never did the santa clause version. We as kids were taught the true meaning of Christmas (CHRIST).

I was about 5. I began to get rather skeptical on Santa Clause being real, when I keep seeing Santa Clause in different shopping malls on the same day.

Well we never looked at it that way!! He was magical figure and when we got old enough to know he wasn't real we helped to pretend for the smaller ones But we always knew and were taught the real reason for Christmas! Let the little ones have fun child hood is gone so fast!

I was 9 when I realized that Santa was not real. I didn't realize that it was a way of advertising until I was about 18,but being materialistic at that age I still bought into the entire shopping, extravagent gift thing. It wasn't until I became a parent (29) that I finally figured out that Christmas is not about the tree or presents. It about spending time with family and friends. It is the celebration of Christ's birth.

I am 60 and I still believe in St. Nickolas. Nickolas was a bishop in Asia minor (Turkey) in the 4th century and this is the individual that Santa is based on.

I was 7yrs old. I caught my mother putting the presents under the tree. I heard movement from my bedroom, I got all excited and went to see if I could finnally see Santa, come to find out that Santa was my mommy and daddy. How disappointing! I made sure not to do that to my own kid I let her know as soon as possible that Santa was fictional..

Fun
