My culinary arts class in high school. All my class ever did was a week or two's worth of cooking and TONS of paperwork concerning topics like "What are the different parts of an egg?" and "How does the USDA grade meat?" Nothing concerning cooking techniques. I learned way more from cooking with my father than from cooking in that class. The food was delicious, though.
