To a degree, we are all behind digital screens, and are portraying a persona. I especially "play" a persona on Facebook and sites like that because I feel that is not the real world. Most of the time (on here included) I usually make a mockery of the extremely over the top people who take all of this social networking way too seriously, and treat it like real life. It is NOT real life. It is an internet community and forum. So in all, I am who I say I am. But there's no true way of sensing the way people truly are from typing on a keyboard.

I don't recall making myself out to be someone "too good to be true" on Sodahead as i've had my bad days and good days on Sodahead ... right now i'm cranky and dealing with it. So nothing "too good to be true" about that ....

Yep, pretty much. Now on the site here I can drink most anyone under the table and dance like Fred Astaire but in real life I don't drink or smoke and can't dance a lick. Also, here I'm pretty much outgoing but in real life I'm pretty much kind of shy and keep to myself. Other than that the rest is pretty accurate.
