How else would you do christmas, or any other shopping? I'm certainly not going to a mall. But I have been to several *local stores*, where honestly I do the vast majority of my shopping.

Delegated all Xmas gift shopping to my Wonder Woman (except for her gift), then visited Amazon.com for a peek at her wish list. Selected from her wish list (as she did from others' wish lists at Amazon), and all our shopping was done in one. Who needs a "smart phone for a dumb shopper" when one has a smart(er) computer for just as dumb shoppers? ;-) Easy-peasy.

I can always find it cheaper if I use my phone. Some times I find it in stores most of the time I use my phone to look for it on Amazon and its cheaper.

I'm on my phone a lot of the time. Usually it's the first place I go to start looking for what I want to buy, and then comes the comparing, and once I find what I want, I'll usually just buy it then if I can. It just so happens that I'm usually on my phone when I do.
