welllllll i have suffered from ducks disese all my life (ducks are so short that they bump their bottoms on the kerb when they step off the pavement). i have had to put up with all sorts of abuse from "normal" sized people who get unhappy if i stand my ground. they say i suffer from "small mans disese". but as i am now 65 i just ignore them. and you know what? i am still above ground and fit as a fiddle (perhaps slightly out of tune now) whereas a great many of those who bullied me in my young years are either brown bread (thats cockney for dead) or in a wheel chair......it's my turn to "crow".
In my book, anyone under about 5'10" is either "short" or, if I'm feeling diplomatic, "average."
Granted, I'm stuck halfway between 6'1" and 6'2", so keeping people on the "right" sides of the line is more pressing to me than someone who is closer to 7' than 6'.
What with them being like, giants. Or Basketball players.
