jc 2012/10/28 23:21:50a. No, that is silly.

That said, my black cat is a dream. He never met a stranger and wouldn't use his claws or teeth for anything. My tortoiseshell, OTOH, is a definite monster.
"Tortietude" is not a meaningless word.
Well, at least you didn't do as a friend of mine did. She named her 4 sons Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Happily, she named her daughter Patricia.
(Actually, I've loved the name "Gabriel" since I read a book named "Gabriel and the Angels" when I was a kid.)
I'm glad you have a pit. Contrary to popular belief, pits are good with kids. How does she view your cats?
My Rottie (in my avatar) is death to any cat not "his" but he's funny with the black one. Hobo likes to climb the dog yard fence and do his business outside the yard. Then, he climbs back in. My Rottie will give his "kill the stray cat" bark until Hobo comes back in. Then...a sniff, a lick and a "Oh...my cat." ends the noise. He never seems to realize that Hobo out is the same as Hobo in.
Hobo doesn't care one way or the other.
