I originally wrote left handed also but like so many others school made me switch hands.

I always been a rightie... but I remember in school (I was born in 68) that there was a boy in my class that had to go to some sort of therapy to change from left to right.. my kids... every last one of them is a south paw, but the school just doesnt' care, thank goodness!

I never had to do therapy,but I've known a lot of people who write left handed. It looks odd when they write but they get by fine.

all 6 of my kids are left handed... aint that strange? My oldest son does all kinds of sports, and he does them left handed as well.. really to his advantage, for wrestling in particular

For me .. it was Fencing (Swords) that really was the bonus being a Lefty ..
all of my competition .. was never used to fighting against someone like myself ..
so I found it easy to turn that to my advantage in matches ..

Although I use my right for some things because I have been conditioned to. I can also write with my right but it is a bit sloppy. I can also write backwards with my left.
