Of course I am proud of the USA.

We have made it possible for so many great advancements, we have helped other nations, we have opened our lands to people who would seek a better life.....

That we are in a slump right now has less to do with teh nation as a whole and more to due with teh nature of humans and government.... it might get worse before it gets better but once it starts to get better it will again be great

We simply need to get rid of teh mentality of dependance and entitlement

Love the country. Founding fathers did GREAT with the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution but the country is going in the wrong direction now.....

I loved what America stood for when I was younger. So much has changed! The holiday's have a different meaning, families aren't really close like they use to be, safety is now an issue just walking to my car. It's like we opened pandora's box and let loose all this evil. I think I would have loved growing up in the late 40's.

Im damn proud of our founding fathers, I love the declaration of independance and bill of rights. I don't know if everyone has noticed this before, but our founding fathers originate from the enlightenment, they are products of the enlightenment. Some of our most amazing thinkers come from this area in time.. unfortunate the world is, to have the after affects of world war 1 and 2. Damn socialists

As an American I am proud of the things that this nation has accomplished and at the same time embarrassed by many of the things we do. I support the efforts of our brave men and women in uniform but despise what our government has become.

For some reason I feel like question is only for a American, but I will answer anyway...

I'm proud of Japan for some thing and ashamed of other thing. Japan has great education level, very high-tech, and culture are well-developed. persons are nice, healthy, and i feels safe here. On other hand, japan has extremely pressuring school, full of stress. Other than that, I love my country!
