Ray the Dog! 2012/06/14 18:11:21Yes..+5They've both been dead many years now. He passed over aged 102 and she went a couple of years later aged 99.I firmly believe, however, that they are STILL together -just in a different dimension- and as close to one another now as they were for so long in their previous 'earthly' existence...

I'm sorry Thank you for answeringreply - Jan 2012/06/14 21:15:15Yes..+2My parents ment just after the second world war. They married and stayed together till my mother died in 1995. Dad poured himself into a whiskey bottle for the next two years but gradually came to terms with the fact that it wouldn't be too many years before he'd be in the grave with her for all eternity. He joined her in 2007. They were each others first and only true loves. We their children still miss them so very much.reply

+2I have a theory for that,as we get older we can see ourselves more in our parents, so understand them.you couldnt do that when your parents where the age you are now..does that make sense :)reply - Ray the... Debs 2012/06/14 18:42:30

+3I always thought through my childhood that my Grandparents detested each other....until Grandad died..It broke her heart, she died soon after..Can't live with, can't live without senario..reply - blindfaith Debs 2012/06/14 20:57:32
+1Your grandmother died of a broken heart Debs, i've seen it happen myself. They sadly lose the will to live, in truth it would happen to me also, we always say that we are like swans, we mate for life...

+1Divorce was frowned on Veritas, the older generation just wouldn't concieve of it. They held the belief that a marraige was worth fighting for, and todays generation always take the easy option, i can see both sides and know that sometimes things just don't work out.reply - blindfaith blindfaith 2012/06/14 21:06:16
PS, maybe i should have worn my serious avatar for this post :))reply - Veritas blindfaith 2012/06/14 21:06:29
