  If someone asks me my opinion on something i tell them exactly what i feel. I am usually polite about it though.

  Yeah, I am on SH, but in public it depends. Some situations call for a person to give their two cents, other times not so much. Sometimes people need to know when to be quiet and let things roll off their backs. I try to be that way in life. Again on SH, I always give my opinion. Ain't that what it is for XD.

  It's a conspiracy. Some people might have been tricked here by something innocuous like "Coke or Pepsi?". I may or may not end up on the political section here, because I've found that if you hold opinions outside the mainstream or prevailing opinion, you get accused of being a "troll"...when you just have a different opinion.

  I hate the word "opinionated" -- or, at least, I hate the way it's used.
  
  I've never once seen a person use the word "opinionated" to describe someone who agrees with them. It's always used to describe a person who disagrees.
  
  "Opinionated" is a word that, most if not all the time, is used to try to silence someone who disagrees. If there's one word that I would vote for to be stricken from the English language, "opinionated" would be it.
