Are you happy where you are in life?

Treasure ♥ijm♥ 2008/11/13 10:24:05
Yes, I have succeeded in many or all of my goals.
No, I am still working on some goals and reaching for the stars.
I haven't even started my life....really.

im loving my life at the moment, but there is so much more that i want to do- im only just 17- i have fulfilled many of my dreams, have plenty of dreams for the future and there are dreams that i dont even have yet but may have and want to fulfill in the future. for now though, im happy :) i have a beautiful, loving family, good health, a wonderful partner, good grades and there are plenty of open doors for me. :)

I've changed a lot throughout my life to this point, though I've always seemed to be mature beyond my years. Maybe I'm just an 'old soul' so to speak-- not sure... I don't have very good luck with relationships-- I usually end up giving more than I receive... My son is my one true joy-- he helps keep me focused.... I'm happy I have a relationship with the Lord-- He helps keep me grounded.... Happiness usually seems to elude me though-- so, with that, I'd have to say I have 'a ways to go' --what can I say, I'm a 'work-in-progress'....

Happiness is not a goal, but a decision. I learned that many years ago while in the first gulf war. It's as simple as,"I'm breathing today...that's a good thing". Your day my go downhill from there, but that's ok tomorrow you get another one. I've since finished many goals, college degree, career, children but never lost track of the ability to enjoy today.

I could be happier or I could be not has happy. I am content in that I am doing the best I can with what I have. I don't believe in wasting my limited life fretting about things I can't change. Along the way I try to help others too and that is enough for me.

Unfulfilled and somewhat directionless. Trying hard to find what I'm "supposed to do." Trying to get through the days without giving up completely. Depression sucks!

Depression does suck, so I hope you get out of it. Take every day as a new adventure. I fear a lot of things, especially now, but I know that even when I feel unappreciated, unloved, etc., there are a lot of people who would miss me very much if I wasn't here, and I believe that about you too! I hope you share your depression with those that love and care about you! Take care of yourself. Take one day (one hour, one minute) at a time and I pray you will get through!

I'm adequately medicated to keep me functional, and no thoughts of suicide or anything like that -- at least it's been a VERY long time, and they were only thoughts, never anything close to acting on.

Sorry, didn't mean for the original to sound so desperate -- yes, depressed; not despairing!

no i just recently left the ought to be person behind and i'm on my way to the ideal me the one who loves who she is all of her and could careless what others think because she is focusing on what makes her happy and what she enjoys... the first step to change anything is you must first love it all of what ever it is

I have changed alot,,more than I thought I would i can,t say that I am completely happy though...there are parts of my life that thrill me and make me the happiest I have ever been , but on the other hand, i get depressed about certains things that have happened and about certain things about myself I can't seem to change,,, sometimes my relationship makes me wonder about where I stand in my life. but, one thing I would never change is my children I love them,,,and finally I feel like I have matured greatly over the years ,,
    great question BTW

I hold a bachelor's degree in nursing and am an RN. I became disabled in 1995 due to AIDS and cannot work. My roommate and best friend died of AIDS less than a month ago and I am still grieving. No, right now my life sucks!

Yes, I'm very happy with my life. Married to a super guy, have great kids who are all doing well, and have a great at home job. Yes! I am very happy. It was a struggle to get here and at times couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel, but I made it.

I'm happy, though I haven't succeeded in all my goals...I have yet to write a series of comic books...and I also wish to study and write about the lives and terms of all 44 presidents. (or 45, depending on my age when I start it)

I also kind of want to have a normal life...husband, child...you know, all that crap.

The only regret for me was helping out people financially when they needed me, I have alot of debt due to this and none of it mine. However, I made the decision to help now I have to pay from my mistake with that.

I think I done good, just not what I wanted but I am happy doing the things I have done, it is so much and sometimes I look back at it and laugh, but one thing still remains though: it's that special person in my life, maybe I'll find her maybe I won't.
