danila777 2012/05/11 17:42:06Yes+5My husbands a contractor yet I do all the fixing around the house. While he went to visit his parents in Europe over Christmas, I repainted all the house, changed all the mouldings, install a dishwater in the kitchen, fixed the deck, and kept the car going. He comes home and complains that I did all the work because anyway he has to rebuild the house why did I spend all this time and money?

Most of the time anyways. I can remember a few instances where my 'do it myself' thinking ended up costing me more than just having a 'pro' do it. But I always learn and if I ever have to do it again I wont make the same mistakes.reply - Maxine David H... 2012/05/12 01:17:32
