No, I just learned how to play chess this year. And have only just recently become somewhat obsessed with the game.

I've been watching chess videos from this channel on YouTube that have really helped me improve my game though. The guy really does a good job explaining things, I'm glad I found his channel.

my dad taught me since he got bored of beating my brother in 3 minutes now it takes him 45 minute to a few hours to beat me we had an overnight game once he beat me in the end

I came in second in the high school tournament. But people with a 1500 rating could beat me when I played many years ago. Didn't play long enough to get a rating.
