    My family can trace it's roots back to France......nothing I am overly proud of these days though.

    I was/am in a German family by marriage. My late wife was 100% German as her mother was born in Germany and her father was from a German family as well.

    I also have a close business associate that is German and lives in Mayen.

    I get more than my share of German culture and I do love them all very much. I'm not a fan of their politics but I am not a fan of Euro politics in general.
