For, we are all people. Being gay isn't like you're a bad person who doesn't deserve the same rights as straight people do. They're normal people, who are just different. They live normal lives and have jobs, friends, etc. People take the bible way too seriously. Its like laws first only applied to men, but now women can vote and other things. Why should it only be a man and a women?

I am for gay marraige because I think, just like it says in the constitution that all men are created equal and they should have the same rights as everyone else. I have gay friends and even before I knew them i was for it because I can only imagine how they feel just because they like the same sex. It's just like discriminating against blacks but that ended so why can't discrimination against gays.

uh, it shouldnt matter wether your for it or against it. gay's & Lesbians are people just like blacks & whites...and I can go on and on down the list. Everyone should have the SAME rights! and I don't think that the president (dont give a shit who it is) should even say wether or not it's a law or not! Religous people need to stay the fuck out of other peoples lives. If they know better the Lord gave humans freedom and their own rights to do whatever!
And I'm for gay marrige b/c I have friends that are gay, and their really nice, and I dont give a crap that gay people marry as long as their happy, straight people should be happy to. Say something just gets us further from having ANY peace!

No one should be left out. If straights, who love one another, can get married...Well then, why can't homosexuals! Hell even Iowa's Supreme Court said that not letting homosexuals marry is "unconstitutional". And Iowa is in the middle of nowhere, just like Minnesota.
