I don't truly consider myself bilingual because I'm not fluent in French, but I did take 4 years of it in high school, so I think if I brushed up on it a little, I could get around just fine in a French-speaking country.
My native language is Russian. I also can understand Ukrainian and could read (not now) Armenian. Well, just learned their 39-letter alphabet, while reading the street signs. Every city in the USSR had the same street names - starting from Lenin streets ...

I am tri-lingual - English Afrikaans and Zulu.
The last one I can speak, but not write.
I can't speak French.
Banda is 'to be cold'
Makhaza is cold as something out of the fridge
and khuhlane is cold as 'I have a cold'
En ja, ek kan Afrikaans praat, maar ek is meer gewoond om Engels te praat. My tuislikke taal was Engels.
