I cant say I am extroverted or agree with the results of this. you can be in between. It would depend on the situation. What role you wish to play. How you would like to be seen by other people in any given situation.

I once woke up in a guys bed with another girls clothes on. His wife came home with him and needless to say was pissed, he didn't know who I was or how I got there...of course I didn't really remember it all. As I hear remember the guys wife turned on the light and well there I was. I heard a scream..scared me. I lost my cookies in the bed..(Ok embarrassing me more)..not sure who put me there but I think I was part of a practical joke, just it wasn't funny for the guy. I cabbed home. I still want my skirt back! It was about a week later I heard the story. I was drinking and playing dress up with a couple of girls (girls do that...really but I digress) I being tiny well passed out. One of the girls guys came over and well (acting foolish as drunk people do)the idea was to take me to his ex roommate's place and put me in his bed and freak him out (or maybe have him saying thanks god!). Problem was he didn't know his ex roommate had gotten married....sooo.....yeah kind of gave up drinking..I sip, never drink. I can sip all night. And I wake up where I should and knowing how I got there ;)

I think everyone is a mixture of both, but to varying degrees. Overall I'm an introvert I guess, but with many mixed characteristics. I don't like to be labelled and characterised into specific groups, I am just me. There are times where I am more reserved in certain situations with certain people... But I also have a lot of self assured confidence and generally feel on the same level as everyone and believe I am good at communicating with and understanding others. I guess, you could call it being quietly confident. I'm not arrogant or 'in your face' with enthusiastic outgoingness, but I'm not shy and hiding in the corner thinking everyone else is better and more capable than me either. I think as long as there is a healthy balance between the two, you will manage in life pretty well..

You don't have to be an extrovert to participate in life. Introverts miss the bad side of being an extrovert such as everyone thinking you're annoying and stupid, making a lot of stupid mistakes due to overconfidence, getting into un-winnable fights and taking on extreme challenges that are way beyond one's capability and destined to end in disaster... The list could go on forever. There are a lot of good things about being extroverted, but also a lot of bad things. And most people are a mixture, not just one or the other

I agree absolutely. But being normal is so often today poor advice and what is wrong with extreme challenges. You lose me there. And yes I fail often but never for being a coward or afraid to compete.

I am always extroverted. I have never found a downside.

Well that's good for you that you have never found any downsides. Whatever works for the individual and makes the individual happy and purposeful is the main thing. I'm just pointing out that being extroverted is not for everyone, and that extrovertion has it's down sides just like introversion. Both have good and bad. I just find it annoying when people assume that introverts are all shy and cowards and too afraid to do anything in life. That is one extreme. I could make a generalisation about extroverts and say that their confidence blinds them from reality, and they often think they are better and more capable than they actually are, and that they generally underestimate their poor judgement and mistakes (instead blaming others) and overestimate their success, and often think they are special and better than everyone else because they're the only ones assuming enough to blow and exaggerate their horns... But that is a huge negative generalisation and everyone is different. I'm making a point that there are extremes in both cases

Livi, you're wise for your years. I don't like labels at all. They're like someone else's clothes that never fit, and labeling is a first step toward discrimination and racism.

I have been playing with you; it wasn't my question. I love introverted people and never think what tendencies my fiends have. Who cares?

So you say you are introverted and yet you fight like a tiger. When the battle begins we'll be on the same side. You watch my back, and I well - I'll run like hell. Ha ha ha -:)

Hahaha thanks, I wasn't trying to fight like a tiger.. Just explaining a point of view :). Yes I agree completely, labelling and overgeneralising is what gives ignorance power. I think it's important to understand people as individuals, without tainting them with labels.
