Alright, here is an example. Some people reject it but I feel it's relevant. Many people say that they aren't really FOR an abortion but they feel that it's none of their business because it's legal and it doesn't really concern them. They say they'd never have one but it's not for them to judge and some even say that God will judge.

Now, that is exactly the same argument given during the years of slavery. People said that they weren't for slavery but since they didn't own slaves it was really none of their business because it was legal. They said that God would be the judge.

Some people say that you can't equate the two but I contend that they are both examples of morality. Both are examples of people standing up for what they believe in and stepping up to the plate for the life and liberty of another human being.

Some will say that it's a fetus, not a baby. The term "fetus" is Latin for "little one" and is nothing more that an unborn baby. Some will say that men should have no say because they don't bear children and I say then you have to throw out Roe v Wade because it was decided by all men, nine to be exact.

Some people will call it a parasite but that is biologically incorrect since a parasite is always a different species. A fetus has it's own unique DNA and is ...

Some people will call it a parasite but that is biologically incorrect since a parasite is always a different species. A fetus has it's own unique DNA and is in fact a human being that is alive and growing.

Some people will say that it's inhumane to make a victim of rape and incest have a baby but that is nothing but a red herring in the debate. Rape and incest combined accounts for less than 1% of all abortions performed. Some will say that it should be performed to save the life of the mother but an abortion doesn't save the life of the mother. If it's medically necessary the child can be delivered prematurely and given the chance to survive.

If you still believe in abortion go google botched abortion survivors and listen to their stories. Women who have had abortions are 160 times more likely to need psychiatric help in the first two years over a woman who has actually given birth.

That's all I have to say except for the fact that many young women are convinced that women should have the famous "right to choose" but just remember that she isn't allowing her child the same choice.

Let me give you the bottom line:

You have not had to examine, have you, the kind of specimens I have had to examine, submitted to Surgical Pathology from a Dilatation and Evacuation. You have not stared, as I have done, into the severed eyeballs of what was once a child, or submitted those eyes for microscopic viewing. Rather gives new meaning to Humphrey Bogart's line, "Here's looking at you, kid."

Won't wash. That's a child. Putting a fancy Latin name on him or her makes him or her no less a child.

    I don't accept that.

That's an excuse for murdering unborn children.

For that is precisely what abortion is: murder. Premeditated and with the cold calculation of convenience.

That wasn't a matter of taking life. That was a matter of cataloguing evidence after someone else took that life. I considered myself a medical examiner preserving evidence for the Great White Throne Court of Revelation chapter 20.

Your argument is based on some arbitrary demarcation applied erroneously to defining humanity. A child is conceived. Our DNA is established from that first single human cell, human DNA. Mapping our appearance, personality, IQ, physiology, genetic predispositions to disease, even longevity. The illogical although politically convenient argument that a child is inhuman one day and human the next based on biomarkers, growth indices that provide approximations. Relying on imperfect science to justify expedient, legally sanctioned infanticide is draconian.
